Description Suggest change

Though most people think of Black Hawk as a casino mecca, the area offers a few amazing boulder problems and potential for more. Expect a classic Front Range setting, although the primary boulder here, the Ameristar Boulder, is quite a find and unique to the granite of these foothills.

Getting There Suggest change

Black Hawk can be accessed from Clear Creek Canyon (US 6) or the Peak to Peak Highway. (CO 119). It’s about 30 minutes from Golden and 20 from Idaho Springs (via I-70).
