Description

Blevins Gap Nature Preserve is a 1086-acre natural oasis in South Huntsville. If you want an easy boulder at the end of a nice hike, this might be for you. It seems unlikely that there's anything spectacular here, but if you want to explore and discover some new climbs then there seem to be a few here.

Getting There

The large parking area is off Cecil Ashburn (34.6575, -86.5173). Trails that access known and potential climbs are Varnedoe Trail, Certain Trail, and West Bluff Trails.

For Weatherly Roof, park at Sugar Tree TrailHead. From start of main trail, take faint trail to the left and continue uphill for 4 min following ridge line.
