Cam lobe scars etched into the soft sandstone. These scars occurred right before the crux roof section, so they are probably from falls jamming the cam lobes into the rock. There a couple of deep ones from some pretty big whippers (or heavy climbers)!

What IHC used to look like! Taken from the original 1988 "Desert Rock" (Bjornstad). The changes are obvious compared to recent photos of the route here on MP.
