The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Central Joshua Tree is indeed just that - centrally located with a great many boulder problems, many of which are classics, and quite popular due to the ease of access and nearby campgrounds.

Getting There

Approach from the north via the town of Joshua Tree.
Approach from the east via 29 Palms or the Cottonwood Entrance.
