Description Suggest change

Climb the strenuous, overhanging, 25 foot hand and fist crack. This is not a pure crack climb as there are positive holds inside and outside of the crack. Fail Safe is very much worth doing if you're climbing on the south side of The Third Flatiron.

Location Suggest change

Perhaps 150 yards uphill from the stream crossing on the approach to the south face of the Third Flatiron. This is just uphill from the short, obvious 5.8 overhanging crack/dihedral of Dr. Merk and just before the "Crux Slab."

Protection Suggest change

This protected well with medium and large hexes in the pre-cam days. It should be even easier to protect now.
