Glenwood Springs Climbing

If you are staying overnight in Glenwood Springs check out the following recommendations:

Silver Spruce Motel located at 162 W 6th Street, Glenwood Springs, CO. Phone 970-945-5458.
It's an older place, but decent rooms with refrigerators and microwaves. Considerably less expensive than the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge.

Good deals can also be found from time to time staying at the Hotel Colorado. It can be a fun place to stay with the SO.

Good local brews and pub food can be found at the Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co, at 402 7th Street, Glenwood Springs. Just look behind the train station and you will see the Hotel Denver, that's where it is located. It has good pub food and locally-brewed beer.

Good Italian restaurants include Florindo's Italian Cuisine, on 721 Grand Ave, and the Italian Underground at 715 Grand Ave. Florindo's is more expensive (great food) than the Underground but nice for a special night out. They're almost right next door to each other, so if one is busy you can try the other.

Another good restaurant is Sapphire Grille, at 710 Grand Ave. It's upstairs, across the street from Italian Underground and Florindo's. So hopefully you get the message. Ditch the car and go and walk along Grand Ave and you'll find something worthwhile.
