Description

This is a kids play area with 3 faux boulders off the Catman Road Trail in the Alabama Gulf State Park. The biggest and most interesting boulder sits in the back and has an overhanging prow. It has plastic gym holds that are all loose, so I wouldn't recommend climbing them unless they've been tightened since. Some fun V0-V3 routes can be created from the boulder when using its features and not the gym holds.

Getting There

Its off of a bike trail called Catman Road. Its one of 7 trails in a network of bike trails that make up the Back Country Trail. Park in the lot that is off of 161. Bring a bike to get there or walk.
