Looking for Southern ice climber

The short ice season is waning in the SE. I’m looking to follow a pitch/run it on TR. I’ve got semi auto/auto crampon compatible boots but haven’t made the investment into tools/crampons. Anyone interested in showing me the ropes?

I know the locales are limited but I’m available to go up to NC most weekends and have considered going as far as Virginia.

I am knowledgeable about anchor rigging and friends would describe my climbing career as “conservative”. Just not trying to be a gumbie that buys 1000+ of kit, leads a wi3 their first time out, falls on lead and becomes paraplegic.
