Description Suggest change

Several areas with short routes.

The Fresh Wall has a variety of short routes 5.9 and under with intro opportunities for slab, face & crack with options for trad, sport, and top-rope. Big "Ben" Venitos will assuredly go as a high-ball at some point.

The Wet Wall will be perpetually dynamic with rock-fall danger as it's been quarried. It is great in winter, but has a few cleaned options including an easy boulder problem that can can be easily TR'd. A longer route with a variation, 75 ft or so, share a committing start on the arete and fork to proceed either left or right to finish at the same anchors to the left, or continue to the summit.

The boulders at the Masonic Temple are again easier and a great introduction to slab, face, and crack with some harder projects and low-start variations. The Veiled Prophet is steeper, but also gets shade quickly in the late afternoon.

Getting There Suggest change

Avoid the park, although the areas are 'near' the park, not in it.

Use the MP map, GPS, or my written description in the sub areas to find the rock...

The "Fresh Wall" crag posted as a sub-area is very close to the actual Spier Falls (a few hundred feet short of the Wet Wall).

A few hundred feet further away is the "Wet" wall and a parking / picnic spot on the river side)
