HUMAN WASTE Human waste is one of the major issues plaguing Red Rocks. The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council and the AAC provides free "wag bags" in several locations (Black Velvet, First Pullout, Kraft Mtn/Bouldering, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor). These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out - consider bringing one to be part of your kit (just like your rope and shoes and lunch) no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly (do not throw them in the toilets at the parking area).
Getting There
Follow up main trail from the parking lot. Don’t veer left on any trails when it splits. WAIT till you pass 2 very large boulders (think small cabin size) and continue a little ways further till you see a black face Boulder (see photo above). Turn immediately left behind the Boulder and follow the trail marked with cairns. You should be heading up and should touch the very left of the white cliff band. This should lead you to the north face of whiskey where Frogland, Triassic sands and the rest are.
