These climbs vary from small cliffs a quick walk off the river, to multipitch routes that wander up and away into the alpine. Incredible Chugach scenery is the norm, giving the area a distinctly wild feel.

Getting There Suggest change

The most common access point is the Eagle River Nature Center, which is at the end of Eagle River Rd in (you guessed it) Eagle River. The center requires a $5 parking fee. From here, the closest climbing area is Echo Bend, about 3 miles away on the Crow Pass trail.
