You need a visa to gain entry to Saudi Arabia, but if you're interested in climbing here, you probably already have one.
Description
Hot in summer (120F) perfect in winter (70F). It's a country, so it's rather dependent on where you are as far as crowds go. In general though, there are very few climbers in Saudi, and so most rock is untouched, and there is nobody around. The rock is mostly Dolomite, which is a carbonate rock that chips a lot, and can really mess up your hands and shoes. Because of it's formation, you get a lot of great pockets and such in the stone, which makes for some great climbing.
Getting There
Take a plane. It's easier than walking. You can get info on visas here: saudiembassy.net/visa-types
