This formation is just NE of “The Candy Store” & directly south of “The Penguins“ I have seen this formation for many years as a turtle head with tank treads instead of legs & I can’t unsee it that way, I know, (I know cartoon- ish) but my ruff sketches on pictures might help you visualize, & thus the Cartoon-ish theme! Haha.

Bring a sling for top rope set up, the anchors are set back a bit on top, to attain better rock quality

*You can access the top for Top Rope by scrambling from base of TR climbs around to south face behind the turtle head up crack/gully or from behind, east side. Or lead the 2 bolts on the face from “Almost A Ninja.”

Getting There

Same parking for “Stem cell research” route on west Penguin. Overall East of The Candy Store by about 100 yrds, you’ll see it if you look at the pictures
